Introducing Heartwork—a tribute to the indomitable, heart-centred spirit of women in art! This stunning robe features a painting by artist Artemisia Gentileschi's self-portrait, surrounded by lushly painted forest landscapes, birds, and butterflies.

Gentileschi was an artistic genius from the 1600’s—outspoken and brilliant—who made a living as an artist during a time when few women did. In a letter to one of her wealthy patrons (who questioned her abilities) she famously wrote, “My illustrious lordship, I'll show you what a woman can do.” 

The robe/kimono is made from 100% bamboo/wood viscose. Handwash and hang to dry. The Kimono measures 118cm in length, 78 cm in width (across back, underarm to underarm). The model is 5'7" for reference.
